Terms of Service
Last updated October 4, 2026
These terms govern your use of Tosk Hair, a service operated by HHT LLC (“we”, “us”). Tosk Hair provides salons with an AI receptionist that answers their phone, and an online booking page their clients use to make appointments. By using Tosk Hair — as a salon that holds an account, or as a client who books an appointment or speaks to a salon’s AI receptionist — you agree to these terms.
What these terms cover
These terms cover use of the Tosk Hair service and the terms of our appointment text message program. They are not a purchase agreement.
Commercial terms are separate and are not stated here. Subscription pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds, and the warranty and liability terms that go with them, are presented to a salon when it takes a paid plan. Nothing on this page sets a price, commits either side to a term, or limits anyone’s liability — if you are looking for those terms and cannot find them, it is because they have not been published yet, not because they are buried in here.
Salon accounts
- An account is for a business. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the salon you register.
- Keep your login credentials to yourself, and tell us at privacy@toskhair.com if you believe someone else has them.
- You are responsible for what your staff and your AI receptionist do under your account, including the appointments it books and the messages sent to your clients.
- Either side can close the account. We will tell you before closing one, except where we have to act immediately to stop abuse, a legal violation or a carrier violation.
What a salon is responsible for
Tosk Hair answers your phone and publishes your booking page, which means the content it speaks and shows is yours.
- Accuracy. Your services, prices, durations, opening hours, staff and policies are what the AI receptionist quotes to your callers. Keeping them correct is your job, not ours.
- Consent for the numbers you hold. You may only use Tosk Hair to contact people who gave you their number for their own appointments. Do not import a marketing list, and do not use Tosk Hair to text people who did not ask you to.
- Call recording and announcements. Every call the AI receptionist answers is transcribed and recorded, as the Privacy Policy describes. The assistant identifies itself as automated. Recording and notification law varies by state, and any further announcement your own jurisdiction requires is your responsibility.
- Your clients’ information. We hold it on your behalf. You decide what is collected and how it is used, and you must handle requests from your own clients about it.
SMS Terms
Who sends the messages
Tosk Hair, operated by HHT LLC, sends transactional text messages to clients who provide a mobile number when booking an appointment with a participating salon.
Program description
Appointment confirmations, reminders, and changes relating to a specific appointment you requested. We do not send promotional, advertising or marketing text messages, and salons may not use Tosk Hair to send them.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies by appointment activity, typically one to three messages per appointment.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge a client for these messages; their mobile carrier may.
How to stop
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages.
How to get help
For help, reply HELP or contact privacy@toskhair.com.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on the carrier and the handset, and a message we send successfully may still arrive late or not at all. Do not rely on a text message alone to know when an appointment is — the salon can confirm it directly.
Where messages are sent
Messages are sent to mobile numbers in the United States. They are sent from a standard ten-digit phone number, not a short code.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. A number given for an appointment is used only to contact that person about their own appointments with the salon they gave it to. The Privacy Policy sets out in full how numbers and consent are handled.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Tosk Hair to:
- send marketing, promotional or political messages, or anything a recipient did not consent to receive;
- send messages about anything carriers prohibit — including loans, cannabis, gambling, and illegal products or services;
- impersonate another business, or misrepresent who a call or message is from;
- attempt to reach another salon’s data, probe or overload the service, or work around its limits;
- resell the service, or use it to operate a messaging service of your own.
Our A2P 10DLC messaging campaign is registered to HHT LLC and covers every salon using Tosk Hair. A violation by one account puts text messaging at risk for all of them, which is why we will suspend messaging on an account immediately where we need to.
The AI receptionist
Calls are answered by an automated assistant, which identifies itself as automated. It books, changes and cancels appointments from what a caller says, and it can mishear or get something wrong. A salon should treat its booking list as the record and check anything that looks unusual, and a client who wants certainty about an appointment should confirm it with the salon.
Service availability depends on the telephony, speech and hosting providers listed in the Privacy Policy, so the service can be interrupted by events outside our control.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who it is shared with and how long it is kept, and it forms part of these terms. It covers call transcripts and recordings, and the handling of phone numbers and text message consent.
Ownership
Tosk Hair, its software and its brand belong to HHT LLC. A salon’s own content — its business details, its clients, its bookings and its call records — belongs to that salon, and we use it only to provide the service and as the Privacy Policy describes.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page when the service or our practices change, and move the “last updated” date above. If a change materially affects a salon’s use of the service, we will tell account holders directly. Changes to the text message program are made against our campaign registration and will appear in the SMS Terms section.
